Remember last summer when I was buried in deadlines? Four of them in four, consecutive months! Well, the second release from that crazy time is releasing soon. My author copies showed up on my doorstep yesterday. It's always exciting, but this one is particularly fun because I've never been in a collection with any of these ladies except Kathleen Y'Barbo. The third release is set for the end of May, so be watching for that, too.
I'd take more time to celebrate, but I'm back under deadlines and the story isn't happening. This writing life is a crazy mess of inspiration, sweat, prayer, and sheer panic. I'm pretty close to the last one right about now.
